CRADLE OF FILTH – CLASSIC 2nd & 3rd ALBUMS COMING TO VINYL IN NOVEMBER
The new Cradle of Filth album ‘Darkly, Darkly, Venus Aversa’ is released on November 1st, but 2010 also sees the return of 2 classic albums on limited gatefold heavyweight vinyl, in the shape of ‘Dusk… & Her Embrace’ which is available to pre-order from the Peaceville vinyl store HERE & the 1998 classic ‘Cruelty & the Beast’ which can be pre-ordered from HERE. Symphonic extreme metal at its finest, both albums are released on 29th November & limited to 2000 copies.

As Peaceville Records will soon be releasing more of the catalogue titles by Darkthrone, originally on the Moonfog label, the band is giving you the chance to be part of this, by designing new cover artwork for 2 of these albums. Please submit your artwork HERE & the band will select the best entries early in 2011. NOTE: Please keep art to around 1MB preview size. BAND STATEMENT:
“We are pleased to announce that Peaceville/Snapper has bought the entire Moonfog catalogue of Darkthrone, that is seven albums in total. The plan is to release these albums within the next year, with new distro network and fresh thinking around these albums. There are two albums that will have entirely new cover artwork: Ravishing Grimness and Goatlord. This is a decision that is made by Fenriz and myself. And the idea now is that we are making a competition out of this. If you now feel the urge to contribute to this competition, you are most welcome to send in your art to Peaceville. Only serious contributions will reach Fenriz and me to decide upon. Thank you in advance, we're looking forward to this”. - CULTO
FENRIZ statement: if anyone thinks we'll go for "computer design" or "photoshop" covers, forget about it. Hand drawn or painted is the only thing that will do. Really. Or there's gonna be a fight.
